Find out "how they get the jellyfish in the glass?" with guest artist Richard Lowrie.

Live demonstrations showing how these creatures are made will continue throughout the day on Sunday, November 27, 2011 at Avalon Glassworks in West Seattle. The public is invited to witness the process of layering colored and clear glass that creates the "jelly" during this one-day demo.

Meet the artist, ask questions about the process, and see Lowrie work. Glass Jellyfish signed by the artist will be available for purchase. A regularly-featured artist at Avalon Glassworks, Lowrie operates his own glass studio in Sedro-Woolley, WA, where he creates a unique line of inspired, flowing platters and solid sculpture.

Avalon Glassworks is located at 2914 SW Avalon Way, at the foot of the West Seattle Bridge, next door to Luna Park Cafe. For more information: 206-937-6369 or glasssales@avalonglassworks.com.
